Printmaking: Intaglio

This series comprises five drypoint intaglio prints—four in monochrome and one accented with watercolor. A fantastical tree trunk anchors each composition, layered with symbolic elements drawn from Native American fables: body parts, natural organisms, and imagined creatures. Rooted in oral tradition, these stories have evolved and branched out. Here, they converge as a surreal, composite tree—an emblem of fragmented memory, echoing the enduring presence of ancestral storytelling.
